La Pataterie

Lovely bistro not far from the main centre. Lovely food, nicely presented. Buzzy atmosphere even on a very hot Wednesday lunchtime. Outdoor seating only available at the weekend which seems a shame.

The meal was good. All was good. Only the neighbouring tables were too close to each other.

Last night on the restaurant terrace we enjoyed  the most delicious savoury crepes-for supper  much welcomed after  a long journey to Brive enroute to the Alps. The house speciality is the use of traditional Breton &quot;ble  noir&quot; - for the crepe base. This a no gluten alternative flour made from buckwheat. The chicken and mushroom filing Crepe Mere was wonderful as was the &quot;burger&quot; crepe -and lovely desserts chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. Will be our favourite place to eat in Brive. A must for anyone staying in Brive.

&Ccedil;a faisait tr&egrave;s longtemps que nous n&rsquo;&eacute;tions pas venus vous voir. Je regrette que les plats soient r&eacute;chauff&eacute;s car &ccedil;a donne un fromage est tr&egrave;s cuit. Les portions ont diminu&eacute; m&ecirc;me si les assiettes reste quand m&ecirc;me garnies. Malgr&eacute; tout, &ccedil;a ne nous emp&ecirc;chera pas de revenir, histoire de tester les recettes de l&rsquo;&eacute;t&eacute;.

Ce restaurant &eacute;tait tr&egrave;s bien, pour mon anniversaire en famille, service un peu long pour les boissons mais il y avait du monde donc je peux comprendre l&#39;attente.

La cuisine est comme depuis que j&#39;y vais ! Excellente ! Cependant le serveur nous avait oublier ... 45min sans que personne remarque qu&#39;on nous avait pas pris nos plat ... Pourtant on avait demande a une serveuse qui elle devait aller voir son coll&egrave;gue qui devait sans charger heureusement que la manager a eu l&#39;oeil ! Une erreur humaine et qui impactera pas notre envie d&#39;y revenir !

The kitchen is like since I went there ! However, the server had forgotten us ... 45min without anyone noticed that we had not taken our dishes ...
